Frequently asked questions

No — never. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year and always accept walk-in patients. If your pet has an emergency, come straight in.
Patients are triaged and treated based on medical urgency, not arrival order. Critical and life-threatening cases are seen immediately. Stable patients may have a wait while more critical cases are being treated. We do our best to keep you informed throughout.
Calling ahead at (469) 287-6767 while on the way is helpful so we can prepare — but it is not required. If your pet is in distress, do not wait to call. Come in immediately.
We treat dogs and cats with urgent and emergency medical conditions. We focus exclusively on emergency and critical care — meaning our team, equipment, and facility are all purpose-built for exactly these situations.
If your pet is showing severe symptoms — difficulty breathing, seizures, collapse, suspected poisoning, uncontrolled bleeding, or inability to urinate — do not wait. These conditions can become fatal within hours. When in doubt, come in and let us evaluate.
We accept cash, all major credit cards, and CareCredit. We provide a clear treatment estimate before beginning care so there are no surprises. See our pricing page for details.

Your pet can't wait. Neither should you.
