When home is the right place to say goodbye
When it comes time to say goodbye, your family veterinarian is there for you — and we are always here for you. But sometimes a hospital setting is not what you need. A very large dog who cannot travel comfortably, a cat who panics in a carrier, or simply a family that wants to gather at home in a familiar and peaceful environment — in-home euthanasia may be the right answer.
We do not offer house calls ourselves, but we work with and refer families to four practices in the North Dallas area that do nothing else. All financial and scheduling arrangements are made directly with each practice.
Compassionate Care Pet Services
Dr. Fiona McCord has practiced in the Dallas area for more than 30 years and is a certified bereavement counselor. She offers in-home euthanasia as well as in-home hospice counseling and care.

When hospital euthanasia may be the better choice
In-home euthanasia is a wonderful option for planned goodbyes. However, if your pet is in acute distress, experiencing pain, or needs immediate relief, coming to us directly is the right decision. We are open 24 hours a day, every day, and we will make the process as peaceful as possible regardless of the setting.
If you are unsure, call us. We will help you figure out the right path.
