Payment Options at Frisco Emergency Pet Care
Why Flexible Payment Matters in Pet Emergencies
In an emergency veterinary situation, time is critical — and worrying about how to cover costs should not delay care. At Frisco Emergency Pet Care, we’re committed to helping pet parents understand their payment options and move forward confidently. We maintain transparency about cost estimates and treatments to support your decision-making.
Accepted Payment Methods
We happily accept the most common payment methods for your convenience:
- Cash
- Debit cards
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Third-party financing solutions such as CareCredit or Cherry.
- This ensures you can pay via whichever method is most comfortable for you.
Financing & Payment Plans for Emergency Care
Because emergency care can become expensive, we provide flexible payment plans via Cherry. We encourage you to ask about these options when you arrive so you can focus on your pet’s care, not just payment.
What to Expect When You Arrive
In an emergency, we’ll triage your pet, provide an estimate of recommended treatment and corresponding costs, and begin care as quickly as the situation allows. For critical cases, we will collect a $1000 deposit to cover the cost of the initial diagnostics (such as bloodwork, X-rays and ultrasound) and treatment (including IV placement, fluids, and medical treatment).
As soon as possible, we’ll review treatment recommendations and associated costs. A deposit corresponding to the low end of the estimate is required, and we will get you home as quickly as possible. At the end of every shift, generally around 7 a.m./p.m., the veterinarian will call you with an update on your pet’s progress. We will also update you on the financial side at this time.
